I am the NES Lead for Project Lift and am responsible for ensuring the rest of the team are focused, effective and engaged in delivering on Project Lift against the NES objectives. As a member of the Core Team, I have a role modelling our new approach to leadership and collaborative leadership across the wider multi organisation Core Team and with our technical partners.
My passion for our new approach to leadership and talent management is clear and I work across the networks that NES is involved in to ensure that engagement with OD, HR and leadership connections is on message and interactive. As one of the initial members of the team, I have been involved from the 2017 thought leadership and strategy through to the programme management and system wide delivery.
I took up my NES role leading a department delivering expert leadership, management, learning and organisational development support across the Scottish health and care environment in August 2016. This builds on significant practitioner experience of OD at NHS Education for Scotland, and as a service and general manager at the London Deanery from 2001-2011. I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and accredited Executive Coach. My experience includes working with diverse groups at all levels and across disciplines, from CEOs, Directors and Postgraduate Deans to business and clinical support teams, Government Departments and regulatory bodies.
I am a keen runner, running the relay marathon for Bloodwise earlier this year and I enjoy taking time with my wife and young family.Back
