I head up ACOSVO, The Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations. We support leaders in Scotland’s third sector through peer support, good practice sharing and leadership development. I’m also Vice Chair of OSCR (the charity regulator) and on the board of a European network of civil society organisations. My passion is connecting and learning from each other across boundaries whether organisational, sectoral or geographical. I developed a leadership exchange programme across sectors and I’m pushing my curiosity further through research into resilience in third sector leadership through a doctorate.
When not working I enjoy running (slowly), cycling, hillwalking, gardening (doing lots of at the moment – mainly chopping down trees), and travel (not so much just now!)
I’m delighted to be building connections through Project lift and looking forward to exploring how we can build peer learning across our sectors.
