Events to connect and inspire

Leadership at all levels. At all stages. Across Health and Social Care in Scotland.

Events to connect and inspire
“These events are brilliant for anyone, regardless of their leadership experience. I value so much the personal testimony of the speakers, the variety of speakers and the opportunity to discuss in small groups”

In our last Project Lift Community Event Series, we explored the ‘what’ of good leadership, and now we want to collectively explore the ‘how’.

In our upcoming Community Events series, we’ll build on the key indicators of good leadership, developed over the Community Engagement Event series 2020/21. We’ll collectively explore what these look like in practice, and open up some key leadership conversations of the moment, to help us all be inspired, connect, learn and grow together as a welcoming community of leaders in health and social care.

We’ll be doing this through two broad types of events:

  1. Courageous conversations of the moment: Offering fresh perspectives on ongoing conversations, and opening up new ones, we’ll be exploring the big questions of what it’s like to be a leader right now  and what leaders need to be attending to.
  2. Getting Practical: These events will hone in on the practical details of our day-to-day lives working in social care and health. We’ll focus on sharing learning, practical tips and advice with one another to bring back to our day job as leaders, regardless of level, role or organisation.

Our Project Lift community events are for anyone to attend across the wider health and social care system – regardless of role, level or experience. These free sessions are stand alone and you don’t have to have attended previous Project Lifts event to register.  Check out upcoming events below and get yourself booked in! And make sure to take a look at our past events page, where we share insights, photos and connections from events you may have missed.

“It is amazing how this event has created an environment where one can meet complete strangers and at the end of a half hour feel a connection with them. This kind of thing is so important particularly just now.”
