Moving Forward – in the context of COVID-19 and beyond | Booking available soon
12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
This is the fifth of five topic-led digital conversations we are hosting over the coming months with our Community Partners, Kaleidoscope.
We have heard many different experiences, perspectives and stories from across the health and social care system and what the now ongoing experience has been like for people. As we move into a new year that brings us vaccination programmes and new strains of Coronavirus, there are growing calls to have a more thoughtful way of moving forward, one that recognises the good, bad and the ugly of the past 10 months, and more and calls to keep the good, challenge the bad and learn from the ugly.
We will welcome:
- Ian Findlay, Chief Executive Paths for All
- Jason Leitch, National Clinical Director, Scottish Government
- Pamela Dudek, Chief Executive, NHS Highland
Together they will help to set up the conversations we have by sharing their stories that influence how they believe we can move forward in the current climate.
We know just how important leadership is, especially now and how much energy, effort and care this will take as we move forward through 2021 and beyond and as such it will be great to share stories and insights, point each other to practical resources, offer support and encourage lasting connections. It is a chance for us to collectively examine and make sense of how we use both important new insights generated over the last few months and long-standing challenges from before the pandemic to move forward.
This is an open community event and we welcome those engaged in the health, social care and voluntary sectors to join this conversation. If you have a story or perspective to share, an idea or are looking for some inspiration from others, why not join us? It is an informal conversation, who knows where it may lead, and what insights we may all learn together.
Booking will be open in January 2021
