Community Engagement Events 2021 Report

"I went to it because it was a Project Lift event. There's a safe space that I wouldn't have come across elsewhere"

Event Attendee

We are excited to  publish  the ‘Project Lift Community Engagement Events Series’ Report in a move to celebrate both increased engagement and a successful series of events and to share the learning from adapting the approach to the full programme through the pandemic.  In partnership with Kaleidoscope , we offer this report and the related resources to all and any who would like to explore and engage with similar themes and ambitions of creating space, connecting communities and enabling conversations about leadership.

The community engagement programme was designed to support our goal to establish a system-wide approach to identifying, supporting, enhancing and growing leadership at all levels across Scottish healthcare and social services. In doing so, we in the wider collaborative team of Project Lift will help to support the transformation of  health and social services in Scotland, and improve the culture and the experience and wellbeing of all who engage with it.

Extended reach across Scotland as a result of our digital event programme showing the main areas where attendees accessed our events.

“It’s given me the freedom to know I don’t need to be perfect. But also given me strategies on how to improve.”

“Will take away some of the more human approaches to leadership and self management”

“For us working in social services and health – this is for us not just a healthcare conversation. This is a comfortable space where we can be equal. We don’t always feel that when we talk about health.”
